StackTeck expands options for shorter lead times in FastTrack

Canadian tooling supplier StackTeck Systems has added on 12 and 16 cavity mould configurations for lids and round containers to its FastTrack programme. StackTeck’s FastTrack approach consists of fast mould deliveries, using automated design capabilities that work with a pre-set, optimised set of mould design rules.

As compared with custom designed moulds, the engineering phase of every project is reduced from three to four weeks to just a few days. StackTeck is now offering single face moulds for round lids and round air eject containers, with 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 16 cavities.

StackTeck can manufacture all major mould components in-house, which avoids potential logistical risks. According to Vince Travaglini, President/CEO, “Today many of our customers are directing us to keep our supplier base local, as part of the overall onshoring trend, to eliminate ‘surprises’ caused by uncertain times – this approach can be followed entirely for FastTrack moulds. For any converter in the Americas, this is the surest way to add capacity in a big hurry.”
