Arburg celebrates 10th year in Indonesian market

ARBURG

German machinery maker Arburg's Indonesian subsidiary recently celebrated its 10th anniversary together with 50 invited guests, subsidiary employees and a representative from the company headquarters. At the time of its foundation in 2006, Arburg was the first European injection moulding machine manufacturer with a fully-owned subsidiary in Indonesia.

Haryadi Mulyono, Subsidiary Manager of Arburg Indonesia and Regional Sales Manager Rainer Kassner thanked customers for the trust they had shown, and the entire Arburg Indonesia team for their great commitment and tireless endeavour.

The highlights of the evening festivities were the traditional "Tumpeng" thanksgiving ceremony as well as the presentation of the "10 Years of Arburg Indonesia" anniversary sculpture to David Chan, who is responsible for the Arburg organisations of the entire ASEAN region. David Chan and Haryadi Mulyono then presented awards to seven customers, who were the first in their country to purchase e. g. a LSR, multi-component or cube-mould machine.

Arburg has been active in Indonesia since as far back as 1993, initially through a representative office, and with a fully-owned organisation since 2006. It is continuously investing in the Indonesian market. The principal applications are high-quality packaging, precision technical parts and LSR processing.

The team, which now counts ten members, offers an extensive range of services, expert advice and prompt local support. This includes machine commissioning, fault rectification and preventive maintenance. A 24-hour hotline provides fast help by phone. Moreover, the subsidiary in Jakarta boasts a showroom of Allrounder machines ready for testing customer moulds and practical training courses, also in the national language. A warehouse featuring first-class equipment enables rapid delivery of spare parts.
