Husky winds up Beverage Packaging Conferences in South East Asia

Husky Injection Molding Systems has successfully concluded the first two events on its 2015 Husky World Tour – Beverage Packaging Conferences in Bangkok, Thailand and Jakarta, Indonesia. The Beverage Packaging Conferences in South East Asia looked at industry trends and provided insight on how Husky solutions reduce variability, improve part quality and increase productivity in the beverage packaging and beverage closures industries. Presentations included information on the latest innovations in preform and beverage closure manufacturing, as well as details on the systematic elimination of waste and variability with Husky solutions and Husky’s engineering packaging solutions, including its multi-layer barrier technology. Guest speakers included Moreno Barel, the President of P.E.T. Engineering, who spoke about Bottle Design Evolutions – Cost, Fashion and Performance; and Gary Fielding, the Marketing Director of ColorMatrix, who presented The Impact of Colorants on Closure Performance.

Karl-Heinz Hoefert, Husky’s Vice President of Beverage Packaging Sales, Asia Pacific, commented: “The beverage packaging and beverage closures markets in this region are unique and face their own set of challenges. With our extensive support network and local presence, we are able to introduce new technologies to South East Asia that drive flexibility, high productivity rates, and the lowest total cost to produce, which is key in the beverage packaging industry.”
