ARaymond clinches Arburg energy efficiency award

ARaymond, a global market leader in clip fastenings for the automotive industry recently received the Arburg Energy Efficiency Award 2015 for its energy efficiency and environmental protection activities, which it continuously fosters at all of its locations worldwide.

Arburg, which gave the recognition to the French family-owned firm on 10 March, said that its decade-long partnership with ARaymond merits the award based on the latter’s many activities around the globe. “Since 2011, internal environmental guidelines have been in force at the company for all of its 37 affiliates,” explained Helmut Heinson, Arburg Managing Director Sales during his presentation speech. For Antoine Raymond, CEO of the ARaymond network and great-great-grandson of the company founder, this is a further incentive.

At its worldwide plants, ARaymond produces with around 250 Allrounders and a freeformer machine for additive manufacturing. The products manufactured by this specialist for fastening and mounting systems can be found in millions of cars worldwide, for example, in interior and exterior trims, drive system and fluid handling. In order to increase energy efficiency in injection moulding production, the focus is on using hybrid and electric Allrounders.
