Japanese machine maker Nissei Plastic Industrial has established a local sales subsidiary Nissei Plastic (Taicang) in order to restructure and reinforce its sales in China. It will start operations from 1 April 2015.
Nissei opened its first overseas production base in 2009. It was subsequently relocated to a newly-built facility last December in order to increase the production volume. Now, with a sales headquarters in Taicang, the company says the production base will increase its efficiency.
Nissei’s Dongguan office, Dalian office, Tianjin office, and Wuhan office will continue to operate under the new subsidiary.
“Providing thorough sales and service will boost customer satisfaction and allow Nissei to collect information on local demands, which will be utilied for future sales and product development plans,” says the company.
The investment in the Chinese subsidiary amounts to 180 million Yen (a 100% investment by Nissei Plastic Industrial) and it undertakes sales/service of injection moulding machines, moulds, peripherals, and related parts.
