The increasing costs of plastic resins in Taiwan have turned even plastic waste into a valuable resource. Industrial plastic processors are upgrading their in-house waste management facilities to enhance their plastic waste for further use in the primary process.
Plastic post-consumer waste now more often finds its way to professional recycling-companies for re-pelletising, instead of being incinerated or dumped on landfills. More and more Taiwanese manufacturers are appreciating the value gain from these rather new technologies.

Capitalising on the technology-favourable business climate in Taiwan now, the Austrian based “Next Generation Recycling maschinen GmbH” manufactures plastic recycling machines for the post-industrial and post-consumer markets. As part of their global expansion plans, NGR has opened a representative office in Taipei/Taiwan.
NGR’s new representative office is located in Taipei’s business district. It is led by Taiwan-based Austrian, Martin Hehenberger.
