GraNa to raise its auto parts output

GraNa Kft, a Hungary-based maker of injection-moulded auto parts, intends to increase its output of plastic components. Along with the caacity exansion, the firm is increasing its workforce from the current 100 headcount at its plant in Győr, Hungary.

An investment grant obtained from the European Union will also be funding the said project, a report said.

GraNa supplies car parts such as clutch pedals, interior and exterior rear-view mirrors, automotive lightning, as well as components for convertible tops and speakers to auto makers, including Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen.

Since 1997, GraNa produces products from an array of plastics such as PC, TPE, POM, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), PA, PP, ABS and ABS/PC. Its plant is fitted with injection moulding machines made by Arburg and Suomitomo Demag.
