US machinery maker Milacron Holdings’s subsidiary Mold Masters’s has completed the expansion on its Indian facility. The hot runner maker now has a new 930 sq m facility in Chinnavedampati, Coimbatore, India. It’s just 4 km from Milcaron’s existing plant and 8 km from the Mold Masters’ head office in Saibaba Colony.

The new facility will mostly be producing the Fusion G2 -- Mold Masters’ automotive and large-part hot runner system. The G2 is engineered in Europe and serviced by the Global MasterCARE team.

The Fusion G2’s drop-in, single point connection design ensures easy installation, faster start-ups, reliable operation, and user-friendly maintenance.

The hot runner system also has improvements like extended nozzle lengths and types, valve pin intelligence with speed control and pin position monitoring, and new gate seals.

The Fusion G2 will be showcased in Fakuma, to be held on October 13-17 in Germany.

“As India’s injection moulding market continues to grow, so too will the complexity of the molded products the region produces. With complex products come increasingly complex moulds and an increased reliance on hot runners, which is where Milacron’s Mold-Masters brand excels. Whether the mould is simple or incredibly complex, we produce hot runner systems that meet these individual needs, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and reliability,” said and Hans Hagelstein, Mold-Masters Vice-President/General Manager for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India.
