Austrian-headquartered injection moulding machine maker Engel Holding has opened its fourth subsidiary in Germany. It invested EUR5 million in the new facility in Wurmberg, near Stuttgart, which houses sales and service activities and is staffed by 22 employees. At the inauguration ceremony, CEO Peter Neumann said Germany is the company's most import market and generates around a quarter of its EUR834 million global sales. "In the last few years we have continuously increased our market share in Germany. Our investment in South Germany sees us do justice to this growth," he added. Engel also has facilities in Nuremberg, Hagen and Hanover.
